In most Western countries white is the color for brides. In the East, it's the color for mourning and funerals. White is often associated with hospitals, especially doctors, nurses, and dentists. Some cultures viewed white as the color of royalty or of dieties. Angels are typically depicted as wearing white. In early Westerns the good guy wore white while the bad guy wore black.
In most cases white is seen as a neutral background color and other colors, even when used in smaller proportion, are the colors that convey the most meaning in a design. The use of white to signify cleanliness or purity or softness.
Some neutral beige, ivory and creams carry the same attributes as white but are more subdued, less brilliant than plain white. Use lots of white for a summery look. Use small amounts of white to soften a wintery palette or suggest snow.
Used with light or pastel tones, white is soft and Spring-like and helps to make the pastel palette more lively. White can make dark or light reds (Pinks), blues and greens look brighter, more prominent.

Coco Chanel changed the way women dressed and also introduced a new philosophy of fashion - women should dress for themselves and not their men, and true fashion comes from the streets, or it isn't fashion. She also emphasized the use of accessories. She was a powerful woman from a humble background in a class-conscious society and depended upon alliances with the wealthy to get her where she needed to go.

"Charlie Winston’s best music combines the blues, folky campfire strum of a busker with quirky theatrical twists. He’s liable to drop in human beat-boxing, gospel-style vocals or even perform the odd Stylophone solo."
I saw him first during the last Sziget Festival in Budapest. The concert was so great that all that energy even stopped the rain! :)
One of my favorite song - 'Boxes' from his first album - Hobo.
There are some strange creatures everywhere in the world. I collected a couple of them of 'my' design world.
'Strangely' enough I LOVE them! Don't find them at all weird. :) Probably because I am one of those weirdos?! Sometimes it is hard even for me to understand myself.
Hope you like them too! ...Anyway, what is there not to like? :) XX

Yesterday, I had the chance to experience what is it like when Balazs Havasi plays the piano... And even what is it like when he does it while Endi (from the rock band called Hooligans) hits the drums.
Incredible!!! :) Such a great fusion of classic music and rock beats!
I share a small bit of it here with You:
So, let's not be affraid, and just do it!
Have a great week! XX

Since the 1970's we had a few 'hippie - fever', so we might think that - it's done. But the thing is that a true hippie soul will never die, no matter what are the trends, what happening in the world, who was once a hippie, will always be a hippie in some level.
I know. I am one of them. :) ...and again the hippie soul inside of me is singing to me...
